Hello world…it’s me! I’m here! I cant’ believe it has been so long AGAIN since I have blogged…life sure is getting in the way, how rude! LOL Things are going great…we’ve been spending any spare time we can at the pool, and in the sprinklers, and everything…we’ve been in the high 80′s all week, and looks like it’s going to continue for a few more days. Then of course once the kids get out of school, it’s going to cool down into the seasonably 70′s…go figure! Isn’t that the way it always happens though…it’s really warm and bam, as soon as school is out, it’s cooler again. Same thing when school starts…it’s miserable for the last week or so of school, then as soon as school starts it gets super hot and beautiful. Don’t cha just love it?

Faith passed the swimming test yesterday…effortlessly! I was so proud of her…she did it without even skipping a beat! Then she went down the slide about a dozen times in a row…she’s such a fish! Now she’s got the entire summer to swim in the deep and what not. Ashton’s taller than the line, so he didn’t have to take it this year.

…until we blog again…

I honestly felt like Scarlett O’Hara yesterday…”As God as my witness, we will go swimming today!” So…we headed up to the YMCA about 1 o’clock yesterday, and it was empty…big time empty! I thought OK we’re just here early…so then we’re finishing up eating lunch in the car, and we are watching as people come…and someone walks in the door, and then right back out??? What the heck? So my mom rolls down the window to see what is up, only to find out that they had some sort of water main break and they aren’t planning to open until 3 o’clock…YIKES! How do I tell my kids who have been asking to go swimming since 8 a.m. that they have to wait 2 more hours!

We then decide to waste some time…went to get my mom’s car at our house because she had to leave earlier than we may have planned…and then the kids agreed that they would play in the grass until they got the OK to go in the pool. We get back and the pool manager says that it may be even later…the water system was broken earlier in the week, and they just got it fixed and there wasn’t enough water in the pool for the filter system to work…and until then, they couldn’t let anyone in the pool. Double YIKES! But he then tells us that we could go to another YMCA that was only about 15-20 minutes away…and he gave my mom a free pass, since she was inconvenienced.

We did make it to the other YMCA, but it wasn’t the same as ours. The kids did really great…they played well together. Faith’s still a little bit rusty on the swimming, and for someone who bragged for days that she was going to take the swimming test first thing so she could go down the slide, was more of a guppy than the fish that Ashton was. It all came right back to Ashton…he was swimming like crazy…diving, going down the slide, trying to touch the bottom…everything. I was very proud of him. Faith, I think, is going to have to take a few more tries before she’s more comfortable…so we’ll have to see.

I’m contemplating getting my hair cut…at least up to my shoulders, I can’t stand that it’s just “there” now…and I don’t do anything to it. All I do is put it up in a ponytail all the time, and it’s getting boring…anyone have any suggestions for hair cuts? Cause I’m lost as to what to do with it, next to shaving it bald! Yikes!

Well…guess we’re off to the pool again today, hopefully OUR pool this time. You’ll be seeing LOTS of that mood girl up there, I hope! Oh and I just uploaded a TON of photos to my My Space page, if you’d like to take a peekie, you can do so HERE. Hope you all have a very blessed day.

Guess what we’re doing, guess where we’re going…you betcha! It’s :swimsmiley: swimming time, and we’re going today!!!!! The kids are so excited, I am so excited, even though I don’t want to put a bathing suit on…but oh well, they saw me last year looking like this so what’s another year, huh? Hopefully I’ll just be the shrinking girl at the pool this summer.

Yesterday, I completely slept in…I couldn’t believe it. So I let the kids have the day off…didn’t want to have a cucka day with running around like crazy, so we had a lazy morning. We actually ended up going to see :pirate1: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End :pirates: yesterday, and it was awesome…I just didn’t realize it was a 3 hour movie! Word of advice…stay through the credits, it’s well worth it in the end! :pirate: Definitely!

Thursday the temperature was in the HIGH 80′s, and we ended up getting out the hose and then a neighbor came over with a sprinkler…so the kids had so much fun running in the sprinkler. There were nine kids here running through the sprinkler…it was awesome. So yesterday I ended up buying them a Slip-n-Slide…much to my dismay, but they played with it for about an hour or so until the air went out of one of the sides. I have to see if it just came out or there is a hole in it already. Thank goodness I bought the $10 one as apposed to the $30 one they wanted me to buy for them! Yikes!

I didn’t get to blog last night because I was without internet…no idea why, but it just stopped working…I was playing on Faith’s Webkinz, and poof it was gone. I was on the phone with Verizon for over an hour, and they couldn’t figure anything out at all…so they had to send a technician out to see what was up. Wouldn’t you know somehow the password of my router got replaced…no clue how, and it was back and running in 10 minutes! Bet he loves easy jobs like that. I was lost without my internet…for sure!

Well, I’m going to go get some laundry :washmachine: done…and then a little bit of housework :vacuumsm: and then into the shower and off to the pool :tanning: ! Can’t wait to work on my tan!!! Have a blessed day everyone!
