Happy Halloween
Well, today started off rough…very rough. Faith couldn’t find her eye patch or earring for her Halloween costume this morning, so we spent the majority of the morning on a mad goose search for the rest of her costume. Ugh! Not a good thing. Her not looking, telling me it was *MY* fault it was lost…as if? And me yelling at her telling her to look or she could not go Trick or Treating this evening. No fun…not at all.
I got all the treat bags packed and ready to go for them today…and got special bags for the kids I babysit and the neighborhood kids. Thanks to my mom and my friend Kim who was here yesterday helping me out with that. I was stressing. I found out that one of the blood tests I had last week clotted, and I have to have that one redone. I have to attend a Joint Replacement Class tomorrow, find time to fit in the Halloween parade & party for the kids today, and still manage to get my house cleaned, pick up my wheeled walker for after my surgery, and try to manage everyday life. Calgon…take me away! I need MORE hours in the day, that’s for sure. :runforhills: And then I can’t stay awake past 10 o’clock, so I need my sleep, so staying up past then to get stuff done, isn’t good. At all. Today is the last day I have the boys until after Thanksgiving, and tomorrow is my last day for Amanda until after my surgery…so hopefully I can fit it all in before then…hopefully! Again…I can’t wait until next week at this time, means it’s all over and done with and I’m on the road to recovery. Who knows…maybe I’ll be able to use an elliptical when I’m healing? I wish!
Well, time to get the kids going…so I better get going. I wish everyone a fun and safe Halloween! Hope you get lots and lots of candy!
…until we blog again…
