Ashton’s asked for his own blog…so I made him one a little while back, and since he’s boo hooing about visitors, I thought I’d post it over here for any of you with children to come on over and visit him. He’s at Ashton’s Sweet Life. It’s so fun to see what he posts about. I especially love the one where he says he loves his parents! He’s such a great kid! Now Faith wants one…but I told her maybe in 2nd grade when she’s reading and writing more. We’ll see.

It’s still bitterly cold around here…glad I don’t have that many places to go! Tomorrow is a different story…but we’re supposed to get an ice storm, so I guess it will all depend on that. Kind of hope it comes, and kind of hope it doesn’t. Would like the 2 hour delay, but Shawn still has to go to work…so don’t want him to be in a dangerous situation. Only tomorrow will tell.

That’s about all that’s happening in my exciting life…guess that’s better than having bad things happen, right? I’m going to go finish up the Celebrity Apprentice and see what kind of Rat is in the bunch and then off to bed. But of course, before I go…just a quick shout out for luxury watches. Oh my goodness…it is shivering cold outside, and the wind is horrible! Yesterday it was a rainy, but mild day, and then last night the winds started…and it got sooooooo cold! The kids had a two hour delay today because of the cold. It was mass chaos this morning with 5 kids bored out of there minds.

I don’t get the kids today…they have so much more than we had when we were kids, and yet they are bored…all of the time! What’s up with that. Imagine what they would be like without the cable television, or the Nintendo DS’s, or the Play Stations. We didn’t have ANY of that!

So, I’m finishing out the week of therapy, and then I’m starting the “Maintenance Program” after that. I figure I’ve been “working out” 3 times a week…I might as well just keep it up. They will work with me on a program that can help tone and shape my entire body, and not just my legs, and then I can tighten up while losing weight…I HOPE!

I finally got my birthday present from Shawn…well, I ordered it at least. I’ve wanted an anniversary band for our 10th anniversary (last October) and found one that I liked…so Shawn told me to order it for myself, since we didn’t get my present the night of my birthday because of Heath’s untimely death. Here is a picture of it.

Yippee!!! Woo hooo!!!!! Hurray!!!!!!!! I got the call I’ve been waiting for yesterday! I am indeed a candidate for Weight Loss Surgery, and I start the 6 month evaluation/classes on February 12! :applause: I’m very excited, anxious, nervous and all that and more rolled into one! So now just the countdown until February 12 happens.

Had more good news today too…I can officially discontinue therapy immediately, and I do not have to go back to the ortho doctor for 3 months! I am quite surprised that he said I can discontinue it. I thought he’d cut it down…but not totally discontinue it. He told me to start an exercise regimen at home, so I’ll see what my PT can recommend I do at home.

Shawn was off the weekend, so I didn’t get to spend too much time on the computer…we were doing this that and the other, and just family time together. So no time for blogging. Now today my sister is off, and we’re dropping her car off to be inspected, and having lunch, and all kinds of fun stuff…so with that I’ll say ado.
