Made a Mistake

Published by Jana under Semi-Daily Jibber

Well…I did something dumb, and I need to apologize publicly. I stated something in my last post that was not appropriate. I have since deleted the statement…but if you saw it, it was wrong of me, and I apologize. I meant no harm by it…just speaking my mind, that’s all.

As for my blog being “Fort Knox” now…some nasty comments were left to me from people I don’t know…so from now on you must be a registered user to leave me a message here or on my tag board. If you know me, you know how to get in touch with me…so just send me an e-mail and I’ll get you registered and good to go.

Happy Birthday to my Mommy! She’s 39 (again) today! LOL I love you Mommy! :bdayiggy: We’re off to dinner with her tonight here in a bit.

Before I go, just a quick shout out for new pocket watches. Have a blessed day everyone!

…until we blog again…

Peeking In

Published by Jana under Semi-Daily Jibber

Can we say little computer time as of lately? I haven’t even had more than 1/2 hour or so to sit here and do anything lately. But I’m not complaining! Everything has been going really well lately, and just not having the desire to be on-line lately…and honestly not much to blog about.

SUPER happy that the Penguins are in the Stanley Cup Finals! LET’S GO PENS! Can’t wait to see how they fair against Detroit…Shawn’s feeling they will win it all, but only time will tell. First game is Saturday, and the Pens have been unbeatable in the first game…so here’s hoping! We’ll be at Shawn’s boss’s house for a party…so we’ll be watching the game with them. Even the kids have Penguins Fever right now.

The kids were off of school Thursday & Friday, and the weather wasn’t cooperating for much of anything, so on Friday when Shawn was off we went to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. It was really a good movie…and we were all excited to see it! Then Saturday the kids had birthday parties to go to, and the same with Sunday. It was a busy weekend of running, running and more running. Then Monday we were back to school and the daily grind.

Ashton has his first hockey game on Tuesday…and both of my boys are anxiously awaiting that. He’s really improved in his skating and his skills, so I’m excited to see how he does with that.

Faith is anxiously awaiting the pool opening up…my little fish! :animal0028: She & I went bathing suit shopping on Monday, so can’t wait to wear her new suit. They have a pool at the party we are going to on Saturday, so hopefully the weather will cooperate. It’s only supposed to be in the mid 70′s, but the pool is heated, so hopefully it will be nice enough for them to swim.

Nothing is going on with me at all…ready for the school year to be over, and looking forward to days of sleeping in and what not.

Well, laundry can’t get done by itself, so I better get myself moving. Looking forward to the American Idol finale tonight…GO DAVID COOK! Before I go, just a quick shout out for mortgage lenders. Have a blessed day everyone!

Anyone still out there?

Published by Jana under Semi-Daily Jibber

Man…it’s been another long break between my blogging…I just don’t seem to have the time to sit and write anymore, and there’s not that much that there is to report on. Just busy outside of the computer, I guess. My time online is little and far between anymore. But I still want to be able to stop in and say HI every so often. I can’t even tell you the last time I spent more than 1/2 hour on the computer, it’s crazy.

Shawn’s still loving his job…and it’s made life at home so much nicer. The stress level has decreased 10-fold with his new job. I miss him being gone for 24-hour shifts, but the pay is great, and the lack of stress is a big factor in the house!

Ashton started deck-hockey practice this past week…he’s an awesome skater! He has improved so much. I’m so proud of him. They have practice every Monday until the end of May, and then May 27 is his first official game. He’s really excited about that. Shawn’s assisting in coaching, and actually got himself a pair of roller blades and is wanting to be able to skate with the kids like the other coach does. He does OK on our patio, but still needs to get out and practice more so he can get faster and more confident.

Nothing is going on with Faith…Brownie’s is wrapping up for the year soon…but she’s just going with us to hockey practice and anxious for the end of school so she can start swimming. She thinks she wants to play soccer in the fall…so we’ll have to see.

Me…I’m just busy with babysitting, keeping Shawn and the kids happy, and keeping the house cleaned and the laundry done. Nothing new with me at all. Boring…I know. But better than so hectic that the stress level is unbearable.

Tomorrow, for Mother’s Day, we’re just planning a small get together with us, my mom, my sister and her boyfriend, and hopefully my other sister and her family. Nothing major…just a small cook out. But Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mommy’s out there…hope you have a great day!

Well, the kids are wanting me to come watch a movie with them, so I better get off of here. But before I go, just a quick shout out for tankless water heaters. Have a blessed day everyone!

…until we blog again…
