Shawn & I had a wonderful weekend in Ocean City, MD. It just was over way too fast! Where we were glad to see the kids, we weren’t happy to leave the beach and come home to the cold. We had gorgeous weather Sunday and Monday. Saturday it was a little rainy, but after our “antics” Friday night, we all needed a day to recuperate…if you get what I mean!
Ate lots of seafood, got to walk on the beach several times…even was brave and put my feet in the water. I have pictures on my Facebook page, if you’d like to see the pictures. I can’t wait to go back again…but the next time we’ll be sure to take the kids with us, as they would have honestly enjoyed it.
I cannot believe that tomorrow is Ashton’s 10th birthday…seems like just yesterday he was born, and now he’s going to be 10! Man, how time flies!!! They will be Trick or Treating tomorrow, because our football team has a play off game on Friday, so my nieces are coming over tomorrow to Trick or Treat with the kids, and then on Friday we’re going to my sister’s and getting more candy with them. We’ll have too much candy…I’m sure!
Then Saturday we have a Halloween party to go to, and Sunday is Ashton’s actual birthday party, so we’ll be busy, busy, busy! We just have one more Halloween costume to find…for Shawn. Faith’s going to be Cleopatra, Ashton’s going to be Happy Gilmore, thanks to Melly! I’m going to be a funky witch. And we just have to figure out what Shawn’s going to be.
Well, not much else is going on…so I am going to get going, but before I go, just a quick shout out for term life insurance quote. Hope you all have a blessed day!

It’s been a crazy week…to say the least! I cannot believe the running and running and running I’ve had to do this week. I’ve got both kids to babysit today, and it’s exhausting doing errands with a 3 month old…especially by yourself! I’ve just got so many different things that I need to get done before we leave on Friday, and not enough time to get it all done in.
Today I want to wish my wonderful husband a very happy birthday! He’s 37 years old tody! Unfortunately, he had to work…so the kids and I took dinner out to the base, so we could at least spend some time with him. He requested beef stew, so that’s what I made for him. It was yummy!
I was so busy today that I didn’t even go to CrossOver. I just couldn’t get the energy to go. Plus the kids wanted to spend some time with me since we’re leaving on Friday, although time with me means they are both in their rooms doing their own things now. LOL Plus we were late from taking Shawn dinner, and I couldn’t possibly rush myself into doing something else today.
As for my doctor’s appointment last week, I got my lab reports back, everything came back normal…so I’m assuming that meant my thyroid, they didn’t go into specifics as to what they checked on. But he did put me on Effexor. I’m sure this will take a couple of weeks before it “kicks in” and I start feeling really better.
Well, I am going to put my feet up and just relax for the evening…I’m too pooped to party.
Hope you all have a very blessed evening!

Eleven years ago today…Shawn & I got married. Happy Anniversary to us! It’s been a roller coaster ride…we’ve had some ups, and we’ve had some downs. But I love my husband…with all my heart, and I can’t wait to spend many more anniversaries with him.
He definitely is my soul mate!

Today we did some running around…Faith went to a craft show with my sister, Ashton had a music thing up at church, and Shawn & I went to buy a birthday present for a party we were going to later. Then we went to the birthday party. It was for our really good friend Dave and his wife
Tina’s 1 year old Emily. Dave is Shawn’s best friend…and Shawn was the best man in their wedding 2 years ago. It was a good party. It was on a farm and the kids got to ride horses. I’ve also added some pictures of the kids on the horses.
Now, we’re just hanging at home watching the Penguins game. It was a perfect family day…lots of family time, and togetherness, just what I wanted for our anniversary. I’m not really looking to "celebrate" until next weekend when we are in Ocean City.
Tomorrow, Shawn’s working, and I’m going with some other people from our church to see "Fireproof" again. I’m not sure how many people are going…but I’m definitely going. I wish Shawn was going with me, but glad that he did see it at least once with me already. We’ll be discussing the movie afterwards, and you have the opportunity to get the bible study book for the movie. I’m happy to receive that…and discuss this movie with everyone that goes to see it tomorrow.
Well, I’m gonna go cuddle up with my husband, and enjoy the rest of my anniversary. But before I go, just a quick shout out for UGG Australia. Have a blessed day everyone!
